NOTICE TO LANDOWNERS IN BELLEVUE TOWNSHIP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bellevue Township, Royalton, MN will be clearing trees, hedges, shrubs and/or noxious weeds in its right-of-way between October 5, 2023 and December 1, 2024.
M.S. § 160.22, subd. 10 provides “trees, edges and other shrubs or plants within the limits of any town road . . . may be cut and removed . . . when they interfere with the maintenance or reconstruction of the road or with the safety and convenience of the public; provided that the town gives written notice to the abutting owner of its intention to cut and remove 14 days before taking such action”.
Any abutting landowner or tenant has the right to a hearing to contest clearing of township right-of-way abutting their property by giving written notice to 20484 Kettle Road, Royalton, MN or bellevuetwp@outlook.com by no later than Saturday, September 30. A hearing will be scheduled for said purpose.
